Some apps go free for a day, some are made to go free forever.

We find three apps each week that are free, but would we worth paying for.

Seembee (iPhone)

The words

Seembee is a well structure and easy to use tool designed to make note taking easy.

All you have to do is snap a picture of whatever you need to remember e.g. documents, expense receipts, or just pictures from a holiday. Once you have done this you can then add tags to the picture or extra notes. Two nice features worth mentioning are that you can take multiply pictures of the same entry, and you can add a 30 second recorded note.

You have to sign-in for the trial versions and the IAP run at $2.99 for a month or $14.99 for a year… at those prices, its best to try before you buy.

ON Voicefeed (iPhone)

ON Voicefeed is packed with more than a few features. It allows you to set up voicemail recordings specif to the person ringing i.e. You wife, your husband, your girlfriend etc. You can also place these people into groups like family, colleagues etc.

You can even set tags to people/groups so they get the same message but are greeted by their name. Or you can set up (from your saved messages) voicemail greetings relevant to the time. For example every Friday “I’ll be at the pub at 530.”

These greeting can be set up by text as well. There are a few more features I haven’t mentioned that are worth checking out… but sadly, this is only available in the UK, US and French store.

TweetVox (iPhone)

OK, so I’m highlighting the same developers twice but seeing as the last app is only available in 3 countries, best to show one that’s worldwide.

Tweetvox has an attractive and easy to use interface, as it should be for something so simple. Want to tweet or Facebook a recording of your voice, this will allow you to do it. The free version lets you record up to 2 minutes while the IAP at $3.99 allows you to record for up to 2 hours.
