The words

We’ll say it one more time: Best App Name Ever.

The gameplay on this one is rather simple… fish swims against the flow, hit any other sea creature and lose a life, your only option is up and down which is controlled by a simple tap and release on screen. Watch carefully on the Homescreen for the Game Center icon to go floating upwards.

The game comes with 3 modes: Easy, Medium and Hard. Easy is well, easy, its minus the sharks and doesn’t require much more than timing. Medium comes with sharks, while Hard also comes with sharks but everything in the ocean comes at you faster.

Shark attacks come in the form of a darkened ocean and they move at speed in a pack… although it usually only took one movement to avoid them all.

I could see young kids really loving this game as the controls and concept are easy. However for an adult it won’t have as much staying power. While its provides somewhat of a challenge, at the moment it is a little too one dimensional.

Hearts are the only things you can collect, the graphics could have offered a richer environment, enemies movements could have been more unpredictable, action under the water needed some more pizazz.

The basis for a good game is there, but maybe just not yet. The developer does mention more updates are on the way, so hopefully extra gameplay is added… but like I mentioned, if you have a kid, this could be a hot item.
