Demino by Purple Wax Games

How long can you keep it up?

Simply start with one domino and match the available dominoes to the last one played. However, you only get to see a handful of dominoes, so you need to plan ahead a little or you’ll end up stumped.

With almost 8 trillion ways of linking all 28 dominoes, (7,959,229,931,520 to be exact!) you’ll never play the same game twice!

A solid example of a quick pick’n'play time filler.

The words

This can be best describe I guess as Domino Solitaire. Arrayed in front of you are 7 domino tiles. The object of the game to to keep a string of matching dominoes going for as long as you can. Complete a set of 28 tiles and move to the next level.

The first thing you need to know is not to adjust your volume… because there are no sounds. I’m no fan of blaring music in my games but I like a bit of SFX to go along with the game.

The dev has added a nice touche of bonus points for speed play, which helps save this game a bit from itself. If, like me, you have an internal ‘beat yourself mode’ then its an appealing feature to have.

Even by taking your time each game is over in a flash. The blurb for this app actually states ‘Play in short bursts whilst waiting for a train, in line for the cinema or during your coffee break’ and that’s exactly what its good for.

Fun and enjoyable it makes for a nice app to have within handy reach for the minutes that need filling but I’d still love to have a bit of sound!
