The words

This is Bjorn Nilssons take on the old game Amiga game Logical, and a fine job done indeed.

Small orbs coming flying out screen right and pass over rotators that can hold a maximum of 4 orbs. If all four orbs are of the same colour, the rotator explodes (although still remains in use). The object is to manage all your orbs and blow each rotator.

Rotators are connected by a series of lanes. It’s easy to pass one orb to another rotator even if it means getting through a number of other rotators before you reach your goal. Some lanes however have symbols along the way: transporters (sending an orb to another rotator across the way), coloured gates (only allowing certain coloured orbs to pass) and arrows (only allowing an orb to go in one direction). Along with this on some stages you must blow rotators using a predetermined set colour first before other rotators will blow.

If you leave an orb without a rotator for too long the game expires and you have to restart, but this shouldn’t happen if you’re quick enough. (In fact it’s nice to play a puzzle game that is challenging enough not to have a clock ticking down and sets you up to feel like you’re playing yourself as opposed to a timer).

All this you basically have to work out yourself as the instructions are quick and limited, but that’s part of the challenge I guess. The levels also progress along nicely and I found the game good for either a quick pick’n’play or a longer sit-down session.

Graphics are nice, interface smooth and the game fast but most of all it’s a lot of fun.

Also take some time to check out Bjorns website, especially if you’re a developer. He’s got a nice blog going, explaining little bits and pieces about the development.
