The Words

A few months ago we reviewed an app called Devil Invasion and it confused me to the point of it being a really great app… if that at all makes any sense. Well the makers of this app, TOUCHMINE have released their 2^nd app ‘T Raider’.

This is a great follow-up. I have not come across an app this innovative in a long time. This is one to watch because I think they have created something that others are going to try and follow.

Like Devils Invasion, this is a hard one to explain. It plays along the same line lines as Super Mario i.e. running, jumping, avoiding, collecting gold etc. However, this app takes the formula to an entire new level.

Here’s two things that are EXTREMELY cool about this app. One is you are able to jump between walls to climb up, rather like free running . While doing so you’re able to also smash some blocks to make it up to higher reaches. Very nice!

Secondly, and defiantly the best thing about this app, is you are able to rotate the map you’re running on with a flick of your thumb…so that a wall now becomes the floor. This brings an entire new dimension to the game and as far as I know, is an entirely new concept. It takes a good game and makes its GREAT.

If you’re only going to buy one app this week, then make it ‘T Radiers’. It’s an app you not only want to play, but one you will want to show other people. Put TOUCHMINE on your Indie App Developer watch list, because you can be sure these guys have the intention of making their mark now and in the future.
