The Words

What we like about this game is it’s entirely based on game play. The graphics are fairly rudimentary, there’s nothing here to knock you over. However, it goes to show that a good game, graphics or not, is rooted in its idea and execution.

With Tramp Stamp a ball is propelled in the air from a trampoline based at the bottom of the screen. From left and right of the screen boxes of various shapes and sizes float past. Your challenge is to tap the boxes when you ball is inside them, thereby leaving a stamp. If your ball gets too near the edges of the trampoline you lose some of your propulsion, which can be rectified (with a slight loss of points) by tapping the tramp.

This game is simple pick-up-and-play done well; a simple idea that’s executed well. A really nice touch is the background music, which reminds me of a Italian circus (for some strange reason), and totally fits the atmosphere of the game.

Thanks guys! Glad you like it! The graphics were meant to be kind of retro, vector, glowy, simple. Like you said, the game play is where it’s at. I still can’t believe there are people that have scored over 2,500. I thought I might see some people get over 1,000. I’ve yet to break 2,000 myself. Have fun!
