The Words

This is the 2^nd of 3 apps to be made by Funky Visions. We really Funky Visions latest success, Tramp Stamp and Jiggle Balls: Spikes! is no different.

Like Tramp Stamp, the concept is simple but challenging. Through various sets of mazes and drop downs you have to maneuver numerous small balls to a larger spikey ball, which then pops them, all the while keeping an eye on the clock. It may just be us, but this is a lot harder than it seems.

I’ve been frustrated with myself reviewing various puzzle-type apps before. I have often screamed out aloud by not being able to beat a level… and the masochist in me loves it. I also love when I have paid for an app that’s worth its value …but I love it even more when the app is actually worth more than what I paid. This is one of those rare apps.

I usually start on Normal level with opening an app, but for some strange reason I began on Easy. Maybe it was the App God telling me not to even attempt Normal, I don’t know. Whatever it was, it served me well because even on Easy level, this app proved it’s worth time and time again.

What I especially liked about this is app is that different levels actually require you to think about how you should best position your app: flat looking down; on it’s side; turn it around; turn it on it’s side and then upside down…it’s a never ending battle.

This is an app that’s stays on your device for a long time… and if you want to have some extra fun with it, pass it on to a friend and watch them scream. Beware: they may not want to give you your iPhone/Touch back.
